Geotechnical
GFA Geotechnical Engineering Specialists utilize advanced geotechnical drilling equipment, a full support staff of highly skilled technicians and the latest design software to evaluate your site and provide innovative, practical recommendations for support of all types of structures.
Construction Materials Testing
A full-scope of Construction Materials Testing Services is provided at GFA, including all laboratory testing and standard field tests required on asphalt, concrete, soils, masonry, aggregates and non-destructive testing. Both in the field and in the lab, our certified technical teams conduct all of the required tests promptly and efficiently.
Transportation
GFA is a highly experienced Engineering firm providing Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing Services. We provide Engineering services on projects such as airports, seaports, highways, state roads, schools, shopping centers and residential communities. GFA is pre-qualified through the Florida Department of Transportation in work groups 9 and 10.
Special and Threshold Inspections
GFA provides Special and Threshold Inspection Services for all load bearing structural elements of buildings as required by Florida legislation and Building Codes. Our Building Inspectors are certified by the State of Florida and operate under the direct supervision of Professional Engineers, who are also certified as Special Inspectors of Threshold Buildings.
Plan Review, Private Provider Inspections and Code Compliance
GFA's Certified Plan Review staff can work with your design professionals during design development to ensure code compliance of the finished product, thus minimizing the time between design completion and permit issuance. Our Certified staff works with the local jurisdictions as well as on-site personnel to ensure code compliance on each project. Our 24/7 availability minimizes construction delays due to inspection scheduling.
